We did it! After a summer of filling up every whiteboard in the building with linear algebra, matrices, and sometimes illegible scribble, our first machine learning paper is completed and published!

The Innovation Lab team at AndPlus consists of any employee who want to create software with state of the art technologies and development tools. We focus primarily on machine learning, artificial intelligence, and computer vision technologies. Andrew Huang (left), Abdul Dremali (center), and Hirsh Agarwal (right) have taken the resources provided by AndPlus and published our  first paper that addresses Machine learning.

We're immensely proud of this achievement and want to share it with all of you as we continue to work on more new and exciting tech.

The paper we published is titled 'Tensor based Backpropagation in Neural Networks with Non-Sequential Input'. While it's a bit of a mouthful, the concept can be broken down pretty simply. Artificial neural networks simulate the way the human brain works but with vastly superior speed and accuracy. We outlined a way to feed batches of data into a self-learning model so that the application can "teach itself" many things at once.

If you'd like to learn more about the project visit our machine learning page here and feel free to leave a comment with any feedback, questions or concerns... or just to tell us how awesome and talented we are.
